Guys, In trying to get my M Puller Setup, it is pretty clear that 4th gear is going to be way too slow for what I need in a pretty short time. So, in the near future I will probably be looking for an option to increase the tire speed. I know that there is a 9 speed MW available, but after talking to another local puller I have learned that the higher gears are weaker and not good for pulling in a modified tractor. Also, I thought I had seen some option of a high/low MW transmission for an M. I am wondering if this is the same as the 9 speed or if there is something else out there. The other option I have been told about is a rear gear swap with a W6. That option is probably the most viable. What I am wondering is if any of you know what the difference is in the gear ratios and what is required to swap the gears. Let me know what you guys think... Thanks.
