I have a farmall 130 that has been converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. It appears that it was positive ground due to the fact that the ground wire is red. I currently have the battery hooked up as negative ground. I put a new coil on the tractor and it runs good at first then the coil burns up. Should I reverse the wires on the coil by putting the negative on positive and positive on negative. The new coil had an internal resistor and it still burned. Any help would be appreciated. Ray
