I know a guy who occasionnally runs his M without any differential fluid. His logic is 200 feet woth of pullin' ain't gonna hurt it. I'm he needs to lose some weight if he wants to pull in the 5000 pound class 'cause no amount of weight los or trophy is worth tearing up the tranny/diff.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
