The way I remember them and the way drawing in parts book shows them is with a needle type valve in small tank with almost straight line to sediment bowl in large tank, about 6 inches after sediment bowl line has 360 degree about 4 inch diameter curl and then on to carburater. The ones I remember were early to mid fortys models but parts book shows only one set up for all years.
