I bought a 284 about 4 years ago because it was cheap and the size I needed (with loader and 5ft tiller). Worked fine till last fall when the carb needed work. Now I find this is not a highly thought of tractor and I understand why; but its the tractor I have and I hate to scrap the whole thing for lack of a couple of hundred dollars in parts. Anyone know of a source for 284 parts, particularly the carb, or a substitute work around for this carb?
