It takes more than just sitting there idling for a few minutes to make the temperature gauge needle move. The tractor could sit there all day like that and the needle wouldn't budge. When the needle goes to RUN or even HOT while the tractor is just sitting there idling... Now THAT is something to worry about. Water... Are you sure it's water? Do you have antifreeze in the radiator with the coolant water? Does the water spray smell sickly sweet? Before you panic and start dumping sealants and other such nonsencial crud into the engine that will plug up the water passages, determine if this is really coolant, or condensation.
