I do believe your problem lies in the battery cables. Stout cables and solid connections are the biggest point of contention on a 6V system. Depending on where you are located in Wisconsin...I have a set of 1 gauge battery cables with soldered ends that will fit an H? Does your H have the starter switch mounted on the steering post, or the foot switch? You are welcome to em if you would like. I built two sets since I had the extra cable laying around, but the first set should last at least as long as the tractor, and I would like to see em put to good use. Billy
