Hi Sonny. If everything else fails, one of my grass mowing cubs had the same exact problems as you're describing, and turned out to be the vent hole in the top of the gas cap was covered/plugged with dirt. Maybe yours has a different style cap than mine, but just in case.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
