On the upper right hand front side of the engine block just below the head, is the serial number. this is also the number that was on the tag. this will give you the year after you look it up in a book, or elsewhere on the net. There is also a date casting code on the lower right hand side of the block towards the front. Post your findings here, and we can help you from there. Steve T
