Electronic Ignition Question:

Got a problem and need some coaching. I put the battery back in the Super M 2 weeks ago, turned on the gas, cranked her over, it tried to start, will run 2 - 5 seconds and then shut off. When you try it again, it does the same thing?? It has electronic ignition instead of points and condenser in Distributor. I checked the gas flow and screen @ the carb. A-Ok changed plugs and wires, Pulled carb. off and took it apart - found nothing wrong, put a different coil on w/ no luck. Any ideas?? Did I possibly burn up the electrinic ignition module? It has a 12 volt system, new wiring w/ a new alternator last fall, I checked all connections and found nothing.
