Hugh, Melvin just phoned me on thursday evening. He is doing okay now and said he just come in from the hot house setting out some seeds. Melvin did have a kidney removed, (cancer) about 10 months ago and did not get any gardening completed last year and the Doctor told him if he was going to have cancer that was the best type to have. Melvin did state that Sobey's will only purchase rhubarb from him , they will not purchase vegetables. So I don't know where he will sell any produce. Melvin is 77 years old , Never changes. cheers, Murray
