Hi Eric. Yes you will have to remove the dash first. Undo the screws and lay the dash over to the right side as far as the wires will let it go, you might have to take off the oil gauge pipe. Remove the hand throttle lever, disconect the fuel line then undo the 7 small bolts and lift off the tank. Is your steering box the single arm or the double arm type.
