Hi John, the Vet is probably correct, the teeth are worn off the pressure plate. You should be able to look thru the inspection plate on the bottom by the bell housing. The PTO is the outer spline shaft that is driven by the pressure plate and should rotate with the engine. If the PTO shaft turns, is it possible that the hydraulic filter was wrong part or installed incorrectly? Sufficient HyTran fluid in the transmission? JB2
