504, my experience with a D17 is that they were a very manouvreable tractor, my neighbour had one and I used to cultivate for him and help with the haying, I'm wondering why there is a Swartz front end on an Allis? I am wondering if the steering gear on the Allis does not allow enough travel to activate the Schartz front to its full cycle left and right, I'd be looking for an Allis front end for it at the local boneyard..good luck getting it figured out...Mike in Exeter Ontario
