Marvin, Try turning the steering wheel in either direction. There is a bolt in the broken part that keeps you from turning to short. that is most likely what is wrong. Try a Farm Equipment Junkyard. A place you could probably get your part would be Steel Wheel Ranch. Phone #785-548-7437. Look under the tractor and you should be able to see the bolt with the long head.
