M sleeves and pistons

The neighbor just got his Block and his head back the crank and cam is at the machine shop, know he wants to get a overhaul kit for it. Some people put Super M sleeves and pistions in M blocks, what has to be done to make this work? Can you just order a kit for a super M and it fits? The block is still it standard bore. any info would be great. Justin
