Thanks to a lot of "stupid" questions by me to you guys out there, I finally got my Super C engine back together last night. The only battery that I was able to locate last night was an old 12-volt that was taken out of a pickup that wasn't good enough for the pickup. I figured with a charger it would work to get my newly rebuilt engine started. I was wrong. It wouldn't even turn the darn thing over. Got one out of my 1985 Monte Carlo SS(another project down the road!), put the charger on it for a couple hours. Went back out this evening to see if it would turn over. Pulled the switch on, pulled the starter "rod" and it was running! Surprised me that it would start so quickly! It purr's like a kitten, and the oil pressure guage says 40 psi idling. Isn't that great? I think I might have a problem with the rear seal leaking though. I suppose I will have to redo it. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice. Everything helped!!!
