The serial Number will tell you for sure. Look left on this page and the issue is solved. The block will also have an engine casting # on it that are different between the two, or if it has had a different engine placed in it. The 350 had a ignition key below a round rubber start push button. The 300 was different. 350 had draft control and a "D" shaped notched handle on the left side of the seat to control the traction downforce. 300s did not (I believe) JimN

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
