I thought the temp guage on my 350 wasn't working, hadn't moved off the cold peg for three years. Last summer I hooked it up to a 7' foot bush hog and started cleaning up some CRP, after an hour the needle was sitting in the middle of the guage, after two hours I started to get carbon flakes blowing out the exhaust. I was luicky it didn't start the field on fire.
