Hi JD, Same darned thing was going on with my 686 when I bought it; I noticed it slipped on the high side in road gear. Somebody had plugged the weep hole because the rear PTO shaft seal was leaking. Then, they just keep adding hytran to the rear end every time it got low. By the time I bought it, the cavity had filled completely up, the fluid had ran up forward thru the shaft tube and had saturated the main clutch. Wierd things happen when folks think that weep hole shold have a plug in it. :>( Allan
