When I first got my SMTA I had trouble with plug fouling. I got some Champion D23s and it seemed to cure the problem until I could work on it more. There are other plugs of other brands that according to the books are equivelent, but I have never seen one that has the long base of the D23 and that seems to help. I usually use other brands of plugs over Champion except in this one type.
