God must love me, hauling manure and speading about 2 miles from a freinds farm fo rthem. 1750 Oliver with wheels set all the way in and a BIG slinger spreader loaded to the max- running highest gear wide open down the gravel road and all of a sudden BOOM, right tire just blows out, thought I was gonna roller her over hard and die, some how i managed to keep it between the ditches and got her stop after about 150 feet. Kinda hard to lay on the brakes and not make it worse when one side is using the rim for ground contact. Would have been nice to have brakes on that big ol spreader. Tires just flew apart, looked like it had been revulcanized or something. Guess I better attend mass with the family this weekend and say thanks again.
