I would highly suggest to stay away from adding length built up from the ORC and an extention adpater. If you need an ORC that's a given. Each item is far from rigid and the off-center oscillation at the end of the adapter will put great strain on your tractor's PTO bearings. I have all the oscillation I want to see at just the end of the ORC. You will really have a problem when making turns as the front universal joint on the shaft is located far behind the tractor. I think the sound will scare you with all the chatter. Be safe and don't tear up something and just find the correct length proper shaft and you will never be sorry. Hal
