My 51 M has a rod going down to the pump to disconnect it. I am guessing this came with the overdrive system that is also in it so the pump wouldn't be overspun during overdrive running. My problem is the pump want's to grind on the disconnect when using the hyd.'s . I can hold the disconnect rod for a little while, but eventually it starts to grind. I was looking for a little advise before tearing into it. The overdrive doesn't work as well so if putting it back to original running all the time is easiest that's what I will do. Looking at it, it looks like 2 fingers go up around that coupler and throw it in and out on the pump coupler end and im guessing it's wore right there. Has anyone seen this and would u try to keep it on there or just get rid of it?
