Well it is not that dry over here as i would not want to go down into that bottom field yet , but i was just getting into being out of the house and doing something and was hoppen to atleast start turning the corn ground . We will not even think of starting to plant corn for atleast two more weeks or more depending on the weather and here in Ohio it may be nice today and tomarrow but it can and has turned cold with frost after the corn has come up . Like last year it got nice early and a bunch of guys jumped the gun and planted well there corn came up and went past the two leaf stage and we got SNOW and they had to go back and replant we almost made the same mistake but due to a break down put us back and we held off even though it got dry we did not do that bad i have seen worse but we did not have the added expence of replant.
