The double v-belts are handy this way. We use them on a few conveyors here in the plant. One word of caution: They seem to have a shorter life from flexing in two directions. Also, if you look closely they may not have a truly hexagonal cross section. If this is the case on the belts from your supplier, the wider sides should not contact the sides of the sheaves.
