You have to remove the front pedestal assy before the crank pulley can be removed with a puller. Then after the crank pulley is removed using a bearing puller so as to not break the pulley. The front cover can be removed which will have the front seal. Just be carefull so as not to disenguage any of the gears so as to not get things out of time. BETTER GET A MANUAL.
