Well if they are installed correctly and used properly they work just fine and now adays with the higher HP the old woven discs will not take the stress and the friendly EPA does not allow it . Now if the flywheel was not GROUND and the step was not cut correctly and your old foot is jumpy and ya did not seat the new clutch in then yes they do grab ahold , now they were not designed to be slipped so if you are a clutch slipper then guess what they will ware the flywheel and plate.
