It sounds like you need to buy a good parts tractor and take the two and make one good one. Your TA housing may be cracked or totally wiped out inside yours depending on how bad it came apart and if the tractor was driven much after this happened. Sometimes you get lucky and it doesn't hurt the housing. The only problem is that if you buy one for parts it may have a bad TA in it as well, then it will still cost you another $925.00 for a rebuilt TA and gaskets plus the core charge if yours is not rebuild-able and chances are its not. In addition to the labor if you hire that part out. I am currently looking for a parts tractor. Where are you located? And are you willing to sell it? I might be interested in it.
