I am talking about the shield. The stamp is the IH symbol that is stamped on all of the cast parts. The cast piece with the stamp seems to be some sort of hinge. The shield is heavy guage steel. It comes down from the top two bolts at a 45 deg. angle and connects with another flat steel plate that comes horizontally out from the two lower bolts of the square inspection plate above the PTO shaft. The cast piece is on the top of where the two plates come together. It also has a tension spring on the bolt that makes it hinge. Thanks
