Reality is going to settle in sooner rather than later... There is no such thing as a "decent priced" hydraulic pump. Used pumps are a crap shoot, and are usually overpriced. Do you really want to risk $300 or more on an unknown quantity, especially since it can't be rebuilt? Even with reassurances from the seller that the pump is good, you never know. They could be lying, or just plain clueless. New pumps will run you at least $600. The 3pt hitch is a little different. If you're patient, you can occasionally find a used hitch for a decent price. Since these hitches are just pieces of steel welded together, anyone with a welder could rebuild or repair anything that's wrong with a used hitch, so this kind of purchase is much safer. Good luck with your new tractor, and even though reality isn't as rosy as what you imagined, this is still a fun way to spend lots of money :)
