Hydraulic Filter on 826

Silly newbie question here. I recently replaced the hydraulic filter on
my 826 and now notice that the cover is dripping a bit. It's the type
with two bolts and an o-ring. I probably rolled the o-ring or
something... and yes I did lube it! Anyway, If I remove the cover to
repair this leak will ALL the oil drain out of reservoir, or just what's
in the filter area? I didn't pay enough attention when I was doing it
6 months ago and now don't remember. Many thanks!
