Farmall M Head What is it

I took the valve cover off my lp M and it looks like new. The valve springs are black and you can still see the paint on the head. Can someone tell me if this is an LP head or not In the center of the head theres this 2 IH X 8574-DC Also there was a blotch of paint over the IH symbol. Any help would be great
