Know this is OT, but most of the people on this site have at least one cow or chicken. Maybe a pet goat, horse, or some kind of bird. It affects everyone in the US. The USDA has come up with a plan being implemented now, that will effectively put an end to private farms by 2009. It is called the National Animal Identification System. [NAIS] Implemented thru the Patroit act, this will mandate that all people owning livestock in America regester and tag their animals by 2009. [Even if it's only one animal or bird] Making in effect a National herd owned by the Federal Government. Follow the money and see who is in favor of this. IE the Large Agri-Business and of course the Tag manufacturers. Already in force in some states, this sidesteps the whole Constitution. If this can be done with the Patriot Act, WHAT else is in store for the American people? Loyd Newman
