Well , when ya start with the pointer on TDC it is either TDC on #1 or $ and see what cylinder has both valve loose and that is the one that is at TDC so if 4 is up and valves are loose then ya need to make a complet turn to come back to #1 then fallow the firing order and look in the spark plug hole and watch you can see when it gets to the top and go a bit past and watch it go down and back up you can feel it when it is real close to TDC on the 6 cylindres it is easier.
