806 Farmall MCV question

Hi all Just picked up a pretty straight 806 Gas. I've read some posts about the MCV and the hydraulic TA looking to find if my tractor is "normal". After warming the tractor up, the Oil light comes on when the clutch is pressed. Is this normal? I'm sure i'm getting the light because of the pressure sender on the MCV but I just didn't know if it was a normal condition. Thanks
