H distributor springs

I had to put new springs in my H back in October and it has not run the same since then. I dont think its as responsive and it does not run as smooth as it did before. The springs I put in were the "high" power version. they are diffrent one is big and one is small. Do you think that this could have done more bad than good? I think that I should have put in the regular springs back in.
