Sounds like they need to be bled. There is a bleeder valve on top of the brake housing. My manual says to attach a bit of hose to direct the hydraulic fluid away from the housing. With engine idling, have someone hold the pedal down and open the bleeder screw until fluid comes out without bubbles. Repeat with the other brake. Paul
