Old Tractor registry

Was talking to a co-worker today and he told me his grandfather bought a new H in 1938, dual fuel,missing parts and he still has it. WOW I asked him to check the serial#.I am aware the # started at 501 but somewhere,I think Red Power mag.printed oldest known # in a past issue and I have been trying to find that issue. If anyone can help Thanks, Will keep you informed!

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
