Why not. I seem to never end working on these tractors so i made a framework to press them on. I do have mics and hole guages so i like to press them on when the crank is cold and warm up the pulley around 200 deg so as to not harm the front seal. Always like the set screw to make sure it cant get loose even if i have to drill and tap. Have never used a new one so i dont know what it would mike out for clearence on the crank as used cranks could vary as you never know how many times the pulley has been off and on. good luck and glad to help.
