Stinkin starting tank!

So I filled with vinegar, which all ran out through the air hole, then I tapped for about an hour, still nothing.
Then I made one cut clear across the top, nothing. I couldn't cut a perpendicular slot becuause I couldn't get the tank to stay in the vice.
I then started prying the top off, I had hopes that there were two little wings inside the cap that were rusted on. Nope, she's threaded.
I won't go into too many gory details, but I broke the solder that holds the neck onto the top of the tank clean off with the threads from the cap still inside. All thats left now is to carefully cut the inner part out.

Great....

Fortunately I did only break the solder that holds it together. So it shouldn't be any great big deal to fill it with water and solder the top back on..

Putting the fu back in fun.
