My uncle, at 43, had to have a hip replaced. He always had trouble sitting for more than an hour and when our herdsman left the 4240 parked in gear (the day after he was told to NEVER park it in gear) while they worked on whatever he broke that day, when it nearly ran my uncle over because of our herdsman, it was was the straw that broke the camels back, because it turns out he had a birth defect in both hips. To see him wallk 2 months afterward you would never have guessed he could barely walk that short a time ago. Well, come august, his leg started hurting. They thought it was his knee but arthroscopic surgery didn't do any good. They opened him back up 15 months after the hip replacement to change it out again. It's been a year now and he's listened to the doctor about how much he can lift this time, and got a job driving truck.
