The F12 with the nested starting tank uses a smaller cap. The rest of the caps are the same size as the later Farmalls H, M & up. I belive the F12 and F20 used a cap with a raised center and the original H & M cap was smooth. Both were lettered "Buy clean Fuel Keep it clean" Of course they have been interchanged for years so who knows for sure? F12 cap
