questions on 706d t/a

hoping for some help on the t/a on my 706.....3 questions,
1- tractor tries to move in t/a after adjustment.... i am assuming it is out, but is there anything else to try??
2- if it is out, the dealer tells me i can get the clutches and whatnot for the underdrive for around $300 cdn, is this a good idea? ( i can get the whole unit for just under $1000.....but not ready to sink those $$ into it just yet)
3- what other problems would i be likely to run into, aside from the main clutch?
any info i could get would be greatly appriciated!!
