And the new tractors did leak by the time they 5 years old, that was a factory assembly. I have a Farmall 140 here that has never leaked, it hasn't seen 500 hours of work in the past 40 years either. Sure they will do fine if you never use them.

I can clearly see where your coming from, quite happy to muck in the oil and grease.
