If you correctly installed the back up washer then the oring for the detent piston. Oil the oring & pin. Put the detent piston carefully through the oring & back up washer, then useing a 1 fourth in roll pin for a driver install the retainer. might need to grind down the end of the roll pin slightly. Just install the retainer flush. Most common mistake to cause a leak is putting the oring for the back end of the spool over the stepped end of the spacer.It goes on the spool. Don't weld the hole shut in the hex cap, pressure from the leak will push the valve spool aherd & put it on demand
