T-340 TD-340 dozers

My brother has a T-340 (Drott I think), and today we bought a TD-340 at a local junk yard. Just wanted to know the rarity of the dozers. I don't think I've ever heard of a diesel but it's stamped right on the serial plate. Anyone know what years these were made. Thanks for anything
