Yup.....ya I sure did.
I remeber looking at it and thinking. " There is no way that big peice of felt is going to fit that."
After I learned on my 400 that the 2 cap screws that hold the 2 halfs together. Draw that felt in nice and tight around the shaft.
Just on here to pay penance and knock my self in the head. I could have easly fixed this before I put the motor back on my 300. Didnt even dawn on me.
