I have a 140, which is basically the same tractor. I put on a 3pt hitch ten years ago and have been using it with a rotary mower without a problem. The hitch is offset somewhat and I try to shift the hitch toward the pto as far as I can, but it seems to be working well without excessive wear on the pto drive shaft. I haven't had any problems with the front end lifting up because of the weight, this tractor has a lot of weight on the front wheels due to the engine.
