Parts are hard to find for the Continental diesel engine found in the 350D. Some are completely impossible to get no matter what you do... Frankly, I wouldn't even consider transplanting that engine, unless it's into another 350 Utility or Farmall 350. It's too valuable if it's in good mechanical condition, probably worth enough to rebuild the engine in a 454. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that without some serious machining and fabricating, the Continental diesel won't fit in a 454. The 454 is a European tractor imported into the USA to fill that utility tractor niche, and save IH money by not having to design a separate tractor line for North American markets.
